At City of Mary Esther, I lead community development and code enforcement, and develop and implement the department’s operating budget, policies, and procedures.
I update city-wide plans and policies for planning, zoning, and code enforcement, and evaluate and process amendments to the City’s Comprehensive Plan, Land Development Code, and Code of Ordinances. I also present staff reports to the City Council and Local Planning Agency.
At Seminole County, I managed reviews of comprehensive plan amendments, rezones, site plans, subdivisions, and other development applications. I also served as Project Manager for land use studies and presented projects to the Board of County Commissioners and Planning and Zoning Commission.
Earlier, I supported landscape architecture projects at Chen Moore & Assoc., Orlando, including FDOT streetscape and landscape plans. In the United States Air Force, I supervised a combat-ready missile crew and had the opportunity to design, develop, and oversee installation of the Malmstrom AFB Landscape Masterplan.
