What I'm looking for

I am seeking a laboratory or geoscience role where I can apply XRF/XRD and field-mapping skills, continue learning laboratory techniques, and contribute to accurate analytical results in a collaborative team.

I am a BSc Mining and Environmental Geology graduate with practical lab and field experience, focused on analytical techniques and geological mapping. I have worked as a lab technician intern performing sample preparation, XRF/XRD setup, data collection, and instrument maintenance.

I have classroom and hands-on roles including Grade R teaching and general worker positions, which strengthened my communication, teamwork, and time-management skills. I participated in multiple geological field-mapping projects in Mpumalanga and Limpopo that produced detailed geological interpretations.

I am detail-oriented, proficient with Microsoft Office, and experienced in sample milling/crushing and data analysis workflows. I bring a strong work ethic and a willingness to learn laboratory techniques and procedures to contribute to geoscience or laboratory teams.
