I’m a detail-oriented junior accountant who ensures transactions are recorded correctly and financial records stay accurate, complete, and audit-ready. In my current role, I handle accounts payable and receivable, invoice matching, payment execution, and proactive monitoring of payables aging to support compliance with payment terms.

I also manage prepaid and accrued expenses through proper schedules and journal entries, maintain the fixed asset register (capitalization, tagging, depreciation, and verification), and oversee LPOs and petty cash with strong documentation and control. For payroll, I process monthly payroll and support compliant salary disbursement through the Wage Protection System (WPS).

Earlier, as an accounting intern with a public accountants firm, I supported monthly and annual financial records and assisted in interim and year-end audits, including corporate tax registration and VAT-related filings for Tax Clearance Certification. I’m motivated to streamline operations, strengthen controls, and grow professionally while continuing to deepen my expertise in VAT and corporate tax processes.
