I build end-to-end data platforms at Shopify, starting with a lakehouse-based analytics system on Snowflake using dbt and Airflow. I’ve designed event-driven pipelines on AWS (S3, Kinesis, Lambda) for real-time and batch processing of merchant transactions, product catalog, and user interaction data.
I also set up medallion modeling (Bronze/Silver/Gold) with dbt to standardize data modeling, improve data quality, and keep downstream teams unblocked. Before Shopify, I delivered the Google Merchant Analytics Platform using Apache Beam (Dataflow), Pub/Sub, and BigQuery, and earlier at IBM Consulting I supported enterprise data warehouse and ETL solutions for Fortune 500 clients.
