What I'm looking for

I am seeking a remote accounting role where I can apply controller-level experience, ERP and audit expertise, and payroll leadership to improve financial operations and support company growth in a collaborative, results-driven environment.

I am a results-driven Controller with extensive accounting and IT experience, currently managing a four-person fiscal team and overseeing payroll, vendor payments, month-end closings, and annual external audits.

Across prior roles as Accounting Supervisor and Senior Accountant I handled payroll for 200+ employees, accounts payable, journal entries, and monthly bank reconciliations using Microsoft Dynamics and QuickBooks while supporting external audits.

Earlier in my career I worked as a Junior Accountant at a CPA firm preparing tax returns and as a Senior Subject Matter Expert at a software firm where I fixed defects and provided technical support, which sharpened my systems, reporting, and problem-solving skills.

I graduated Summa Cum Laude with double majors in Accounting and Management Information Systems and am proficient with QuickBooks, MS Dynamics, SQL/SSRS, CSA, Drake, payroll systems and MS Office; I speak English, Mandarin, Cantonese and Vietnamese and bring a detail-oriented, collaborative approach.
