What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can expand security operations skills—triage, threat intelligence, and hands-on testing—while contributing to monitoring, documentation, and clear security reporting in a supportive team.

I’m a cybersecurity student with hands-on experience supporting security operations, performing vulnerability assessments, and strengthening monitoring through practical tooling. During my internship at Uganda Communications Commission (UCC), I worked on cybersecurity triage, threat intelligence enrichment, and penetration testing workflows.

I used BitSight for cybersecurity risk triage, assessed and prioritized security ratings across monitored organizations, and delivered detailed security findings reports. I also conducted vulnerability assessments and penetration testing with OWASP ZAP, Metasploit, OpenVAS, Nmap, and Burp Suite, while enriching threat details from CSV sources and collaborating on monitoring, documentation, and compliance reporting.

Beyond security, I stay effective across infrastructure and communication: I’ve supported IT at Grace Christian High School by configuring Windows systems, resolving basic network issues, and training non-technical users. I also build and maintain responsive websites as a freelance web developer, and I’ve built a cybersecurity home lab using VMware, pfSense, Wazuh, Suricata, and Splunk to learn how attacks show up in SIEM and IDS logs.
