Tilanka Fernando

I’m a final-year Information Technology undergraduate specializing in Data Science, with one year of industry experience as a Junior Developer at Tiqri. I’ve helped build and maintain enterprise asset management solutions by working with ASP.NET Core, Angular, Entity Framework Core, and SQL Server in Agile teams.

I bring a strong analytics foundation through projects like a Used Car Price Predictor (Python, Jupyter Notebook, scikit-learn, Pandas, NumPy) and Netflix Data Analysis (EDA and visual exploration with Matplotlib and Seaborn). I also build business-facing reporting, including a Chocolate Sales Dashboard with Power BI (DAX, Power Query) and an end-to-end Data Warehouse and Business Intelligence System using Star Schema, SSIS/SSAS, and interactive Power BI dashboards.

I enjoy delivering production-ready solutions with Clean Architecture REST APIs, clear data flow between frontend and backend, and reliable database changes via Entity Framework Core migrations. I’m passionate about leveraging data-driven and AI-powered solutions to solve real-world business challenges, and I’m eager to contribute to Data Science, AI/ML, Data Analytics, and Business Intelligence roles.
