I’m a WordPress developer with 6 years of experience building custom themes and plugins from scratch, with a strong focus on performance, security, and SEO. I work comfortably across the full WordPress build process, including custom post types, ACF, and Gutenberg.

I run my own client business independently, managing multiple projects end-to-end and publishing my own plugins and themes to the WordPress.org directory. I’ve also recovered a client site from a fatal error by rebuilding on a fresh install and migrating content via WXR export/import and direct MySQL queries, with zero content loss.

On WooCommerce and integrations work, I develop storefronts and connect third-party tools into client sites. I prioritize Core Web Vitals, caching, WebP image optimization, lazy-loading, and secure coding practices, including sanitization and WP coding standards.

Recently, I led backend architecture and delivery as a Lead Backend Developer (TesseNav), working with a team of 5 developers on a community services web application. I’m driven by remote, self-directed execution and clear cross-timezone communication, and I also support my craft by tutoring fellow students through NAIT’s platform.
