My independent company since 2020. Tech lead on critical platforms for large retail and e-commerce accounts: legacy takeovers, zero-downtime migrations, architecture, team coaching. Also fixed-price end-to-end projects for SMEs. Clients: Royal Canin (Mars), Norauto (Mobivia), Leroy Merlin (Adeo), Greenweez (Carrefour).

Fixed-price projects for SMEs (~50 staff, no IT department), end to end: audit, scoping, architecture, build, delivery. Removed duplicate data entry in a regulated business process with agentic workflows connecting existing tools (Claude API, n8n, TypeScript, Next.js). Hosted on Scaleway for GDPR and data sovereignty. Tool designed to be sold as white label.

Fixed-price projects for clients each running 10 to 40 websites: scoping, architecture, build, delivery. Single, local and secure portal centralizing site access and update deployment. Automated monthly report for each end client: 30 minutes saved per site per month, up to 20 hours per month per client.

Via Ekino. Product and recommendation platform used in 100+ countries. Tech lead for 4 agile teams of 5 to 10. Migrated a LoopBack/PostgreSQL monolith to NestJS/MongoDB microservices with no downtime. Took over TREE, a recommendation engine with lost logic: ported to NestJS, locked down by characterization tests. Breed selector shipped in 2 months. GDPR encryption, Azure (AKS, Event Grid).

Connected workshop backend: real-time tracking and traceability of work on customer vehicles. Built the Node.js services. Introduced automated testing and agile practices to the team. Migrated MySQL to MongoDB with a tested Node.js script. On-call in "you build it, you run it" (Grafana monitoring, escalation, incident follow-up): zero incidents on my scope.

Leroy Merlin, Bricoman, Zodio. Product data pipeline around a central Kafka on GCP, "you build it, you run it". Tech lead alongside the team lead, mentoring a junior. Node.js enrichment services. Owned the team's Terraform, secrets included. Built a probe (test product sent through the staging pipeline) to find where products got stuck, adopted by other teams.

Carrefour group organic e-commerce. Brought in to install Kafka, which would not have fixed their catalog issue; refocused on the PHP 5 to Symfony 5 migration. Tech lead of 6 developers for 6 months, Symfony and testing training, handover to the new lead. Old and new stacks in parallel, no site downtime. Mirakl marketplace integration.

React payment gateway: about 15 payment methods, rules and limits per country (Germany, Austria, Malta) and per German state. Replaced hard-coded logic with an interface-contract architecture so new methods plug in without rewrites. Implemented 3D Secure when it became mandatory. Anti-fraud and AML controls with the central front-end team.

Goal: get through Black Friday and Cyber Monday. Strengthened test coverage. Rebuilt a problematic flow with an intern as async Node.js workers on Redis and Bull, solving a scaling issue. Black Friday war room: platform went from 8 to 40 million concurrent connections, zero incidents on our side. On-call with Splunk alerts.

Led a team of ten for two years, 5 parallel projects for 11 brands; 9 hires. Node.js/React portal delivered in 6 months: ~5,000 vets get documents online instead of by mail. Insurance funnel with e-signature (Bulle Bleue). Partial move to AWS, CQRS and event sourcing (WSO2). Kept the critical in-house Zend 1.1 framework running. Set up automated testing.

Agency of about ten people, varied client projects: WordPress, React in production from its early days, Symfony 3, IoT on Raspberry Pi. Ouikan project from scratch to production in four months. Moved the team from manual deployments to automated deployment (Magallanes).

Pursued a Master's degree in Computer Engineering at EPSI from 2011 to 2016.
