At the National Mississippi River Museum and Aquarium, I present programs in history, conservation and watershed stewardship, and create and teach STEM activities in the Maker’s Space. I also work as a certified animal ambassador handler and outreach educator, sharing interactive programming with visitors on-site and off-site.
Across animal welfare roles, I’ve created shelter policies and procedures, enrichment and pathway planning, and community outreach programs. At County of San Diego Animal Services, I helped evacuate animals and manage temporary shelters during wildfires, and created adoption promotions and social media content.
