Tharushi Mudalige1

I’m a motivated Data Science graduate with hands-on experience in data analytics, machine learning, and business intelligence. I build data-driven solutions that support business decision-making, combining analytical thinking with continuous learning.

In my Junior Data Scientist internship at Sri Lanka Telecom PLC, I developed predictive models for customer churn analysis, supported improved customer retention strategies, and performed customer segmentation using machine learning. I built data transformation and preprocessing pipelines using Python and SQL, and designed interactive dashboards and reports in Excel and Power BI to visualize churn insights.

Across my academic projects, I’ve delivered end-to-end SQL data warehousing with ETL and star schema design, created interactive Power BI dashboards with Power Query and DAX measures, and developed predictive healthcare and churn applications using Python, Flask, and ML models. I enjoy working both independently and within team environments to deliver actionable insights.
