Thapelo Jacob Laelang

I’m a motivated education professional with over 10 years of cumulative experience in tutoring, academic consulting, and education management. As a certified TEFL instructor and business consultant, I focus on learner-centered engagement—designing and delivering content that strengthens English, Business Studies, Management, Marketing, Commerce, and Mathematics.

Since January 2018, I’ve served as Head Tutor & Program Manager at Sauced Brains Academy, where I manage academic programs across multiple levels, create and deliver curriculum, and supervise junior tutors. I also lead public educational initiatives and use digital tutoring workflows to monitor progress and keep learning consistent from lesson to lesson.

I founded Itekeng (2020–Present), a youth-led initiative empowering rural students through mentoring and educational programs. My work has been recognized by Midweek Sun Newspaper as an Outstanding Youth and Education Activist (2025), and I’m proud of awards including Sauced Brains Academy Outstanding Educator Award (2022). I’m committed to helping students succeed through individualized instruction, strong mentoring, and practical career and exam preparation support.
