What I'm looking for

I am looking for a hands-on accounting or finance role where I can apply financial reporting, payroll and analytical skills, work collaboratively, and grow professionally in a supportive team.

I am an MSc Accounting & Finance graduate from the University of Dundee with practical experience in financial reporting, payroll, and analytical modelling using Excel and SAP. I combine academic training in financial analysis and regulation with hands-on accounting tasks completed in fast-paced environments.

In prior roles I prepared payroll for 30+ staff, processed 200+ monthly bookkeeping transactions, and performed monthly bank reconciliations that improved reporting timeliness and reduced errors. I have supported management reporting and variance analysis to strengthen financial accuracy and cost control.

I have applied valuation and risk analysis techniques to SSE PLC and National Grid PLC using Excel models and ratio analysis, and used OLS regression and event study methodology in my dissertation with SPSS. I also contributed to technical documentation and reporting for smart city infrastructure during a technology advisory role.

I am customer-focused and service-oriented, currently working in hospitality where I maintain high service standards and accurate POS billing. I am keen to grow in a hands-on accounting or finance role where I can apply analytical skills, SAP and Excel expertise, and continue developing professionally within a collaborative team.
