Thandeka Mpolokeng

I’m a senior-level multi-disciplinary CAD Technician and draughtsperson with 7+ years of progressive experience across manufacturing, plant, and MEP environments. I specialize in mechanical and plant drafting, delivering accurate 2D/3D models and production-ready documentation.

In my current role, I produce standard product drawings aligned to approved engineering specifications and QMS requirements. I design and develop new products and components by translating engineering concepts into precise 2D and 3D CAD drawings, then update and maintain drawings to reflect design improvements and engineering changes with full version control and traceability.

Previously at Ardagh Glass Packaging, I compiled and controlled project documentation across the full engineering and plant project lifecycle. I prepared and issued project drawings and PES documentation for engineering, production, and execution teams, administered the drawing office database and structured filing system, and maintained a technical library built from completed projects for factory use.

I’ve also supported drafting deliverables as a CAD Operator and as a Junior MEP Draughtsperson, working on detailed component/assembly drawings and coordinating MEP drawing packages. I’m recognized for technical accuracy, reliability, and the ability to operate with minimal supervision while collaborating effectively with engineers and production teams.
