Dumisile Ngomane

I've delivered piping designs, as-built isometrics, red-line drawings, and AFC drawings for projects at the Sasol Synfuels Plant in Secunda. In my current Senior Draughtsman role at Paradigm Shift Holdings, I define scopes with clients, verify site conditions, develop new pipeline layouts, and review drawings for compliance.

Across Paradigm Shift Holdings, Sasolburg Industrial Supplies, and Plant Design & Project Services, I've supported plant maintenance and project work in areas including Polymers, Refinery, Gasification, Steam Plant, Water Treatment, Rectisol, and Coal Processing. My project experience includes updating MFDs across the Sasol Synfuels Plant, designing a new gas line from Rectisol to Gasification, and redesigning Instrument Air lines for the East and West Steam Plants.

I use AutoCAD, MicroStation, and SmartPlant Isometrics for 2D and 3D modelling, simulation, piping design, and technical documentation. I work with process piping codes and standards, including ASME B31.1, B31.3, B31.4, B31.5, B31.8, B31.9, and B31.11.

I'm working toward a Multi-Disciplinary Draughting National Certificate while building toward Principal Piping Designer, Section Leader, or Drawing Office Manager opportunities. I enjoy mentoring junior draughtsmen, leading project teams, and sharing the knowledge I've gained throughout my career.
