I’m a Data Engineer with a strong software development discipline and 2 years of experience focused on Python automation, API integrations, and scalable data ingestion. In large enterprise environments, I build robust backend integrations and automated data pipelines across multi-cloud (GCP/AWS) to support cross-functional analytics needs.
I develop custom ETL/ELT workflows and serverless pipelines (Cloud Functions/Lambda) that ingest data from external APIs, reducing manual extraction time significantly. I also refactor and optimize data processing code to improve performance and lower costs, while implementing data governance and quality frameworks using automated tests with Pytest and orchestrating 50+ Airflow DAGs.
I maintain CI/CD and production reliability with Jenkins and Docker, and I use monitoring and alerting (including CloudWatch logs and real-time MS Teams alerts) to speed up debugging and hotfixes. Previously, as a Technical Instructor at Trybe, I mentored 10+ cohorts through a rigorous full-stack program by performing code reviews and translating complex engineering concepts into accessible learning.
