Thabisile Chauke

I’m an Education Assistant who supports teachers and learners through effective lesson planning support, classroom management, and safe, well-organized learning environments. My goal is to work in a place that helps me succeed and grow professionally while using my skills and knowledge to make a real difference.

In my recent roles at Tsakani Full Service Primary School and Glen Ridge Primary School, I assisted with lesson planning, teaching activities, and classroom management. I taught and supervised lessons, supported learners individually and in groups, and helped with marking, assessments, and the preparation of learning materials.

I also focus strongly on literacy outcomes. In my “Reading Champion” project, I conducted small-group reading sessions, designed phonics and comprehension activities, and helped improve learners’ reading accuracy over a four-week period, while collaborating with teachers on classroom structure, discipline, and administrative support.
