Terry Nkonge

I’m a dedicated and passionate ICT educator with 3 years of experience teaching the British IGCSE curriculum through homeschooling and tuition centres. I hold a Bachelor of Education (ICT) from the University of Nairobi, and I’m highly adaptable as I work toward transitioning into the Competency-Based Education (CBE) approach.

I’ve taught across ICT and related subjects, including IGCSE ICT O levels and Computing from year 6 to year 11, plus sciences, mathematics, and additional support for learners preparing for IGSCE/Edexcel. I’ve gained hands-on classroom experience as a teacher at Muthambi girls high school, through private tutoring, and through roles such as teaching at Joy homeschool Nairobi and Sanity homebased tuition academy.

I’m committed to continuous professional growth and I take pride in creating engaging, learner-centred environments that nurture critical thinking and digital literacy. I bring strong classroom management, excellent communication, and a collaborative mindset with colleagues, parents, and school administration.
