I’m an Independent Prescribing Clinical Pharmacist and Surgical Lead with extensive acute hospital experience and strong foundations in clinical leadership, governance, and safe prescribing. I focus on high-quality, patient-centred care while maintaining strict compliance with GPhC, MHRA, CQC and internal clinical frameworks.
I independently prescribe injectable therapies for weight-management, including GLP-1 receptor agonists such as Semaglutide and Tirzepatide. I deliver remote and face-to-face consultations with eligibility assessment, risk stratification, informed consent, and ongoing monitoring—managing titration, side effects, intolerance, and appropriate discontinuation decisions.
In surgical and inpatient settings, I lead medicines optimisation for high-risk post-operative patients and support safer prescribing across surgery, ICU, cardiology and general medicine. I also line-manage and supervise pharmacists, technicians and trainees, including training, competency development, rota support, workload allocation and escalation for complex clinical cases.
I take a data-driven, safety-first approach to governance—leading medication-safety audits, participating in RCA investigations, and implementing safety actions. I develop SOPs, prescribing frameworks and clinical protocols, and I support service optimisation across both NHS and private digital-health environments (including remote prescribing through MedExpress).
