Novtej Rehal
@novtejrehal
I lead safe prescribing and medicines optimisation across primary care and long-term conditions.
What I'm looking for
At PHL Group, I lead clinical prescribing across acute and long-term conditions, delivering face-to-face and remote assessments, independent prescribing, medication reviews, reconciliation, and high-risk medicines monitoring.
I lead GLP-1 prescribing governance and titration for patients initiated by specialist weight-management and diabetologist-led services, and oversee ADHD Shared Care Agreements to ensure safe continuation in primary care. I also support clinical audits, guideline implementation, MHRA safety alerts, QOF achievement, and clinician coaching; my work contributed to a ‘Good’ CQC rating through stronger clinical governance, medicines safety, and prescribing quality.
Previously, I supported two GP practices at 3Well Medical to progress from ‘Inadequate’ to ‘Good’ across four CQC inspections. I bring experience from general practice, community pharmacy leadership, hospital pharmacy, substance misuse services, and a strong interest in digital health tools that improve clinical workflows and patient outcomes.
