Tarek Mohamed

I’m a Network Engineering student with strong foundations in networking, system administration, and troubleshooting. I focus on understanding how networks work end-to-end, then applying that knowledge to real scenarios with continuous hands-on learning.

In my projects, I designed and simulated small enterprise networks using Cisco Packet Tracer. I implemented VLANs, static routing, and DHCP configuration, then tested connectivity and troubleshooting scenarios to strengthen my practical problem-solving.

I also practice Linux system administration tasks, configuring basic networking settings and services in a Linux environment. Along the way, I use tools like Wireshark and Packet Tracer to inspect traffic, verify behavior, and improve how I diagnose issues.

I’m passionate about building and managing efficient and secure network systems. My certifications—including HackerRank Python and Problem Solving, plus OWASP Top 10—support my approach to reliability, security awareness, and ongoing growth.
