I’m a Site Reliability and Platform Engineer with more than five years in fintech and telecom infrastructure. I’m based in Espoo, Finland (EET, UTC+2) and doing an MSc in Communications Engineering at Aalto University. My studies are flexible, so I can work full time now.
WallStreetDocs (London based FinTech SaaS, ~800 staff, 2025–2026), Site Reliability Engineer
I was one of nine engineers running production and QA infrastructure for 500+ services deployed with Helm on Kubernetes (Rancher, AWS EKS). I independently built an HA Redis pair with keepalived. I added Prometheus and Grafana dashboards and SMTP failover alerts, then ran the production cutover with the product and dev teams. No performance issues came up after go-live. I grew a 1–2 TB Cassandra cluster from 3 to 6 nodes and set up the company’s first Medusa backups, with restores tested at 20–30 minutes. I moved about 90% of application secrets into HashiCorp Vault and worked on moving authentication to Keycloak SSO. I also managed around 100 Windows servers with Ansible and wrote Terraform/Terragrunt modules for EC2, ALB, S3, ACM and Route 53. Other work included Jenkins and GitHub Actions self-service deploy pipelines, rebuilding vulnerable container images, and moving teams onto GitHub with Entra ID-based RBAC.
bKash (Bangladesh’s largest mobile financial service, ~2,000 staff, 2021–2025), Senior Platform and Integration Engineer
I brought Ansible to a team that made changes by hand. We used it for provisioning, hardening, access control and quarterly patching across RHEL, Ubuntu and SUSE on VMware and OpenStack, with the reporting needed to keep PCI-DSS and ISO 27001 certifications. I was the infrastructure point of contact for a PCI-scoped server holding cardholder data. I managed 250–300 SSL/TLS certificates and automated their renewal notices end-to-end. I also helped design Cloudflare WAF rules and tuned F5 ASM policies against OWASP risks. I ran F5 BIG-IP load balancing for client API integrations, took part in 10–12 DR exercises across two data centres, and led change management for production work. My Jenkins CI/CD work cut release delivery time by 25%. I mentored 9 engineers, and their task completion times fell by an average of 25%. I received the CEO’s Special Award for the Oracle Fusion Cloud ERP integration.
Ericsson Bangladesh (2020), Service Engineer
I worked on a 4G modernization rollout to 2,770 sites, pre-staging baseband hardware and tracking deliveries and site handovers.
