I'm a recent Electrical and Electronics Engineering graduate from BITS Pilani and an entry-level software engineer focused on building secure, high-performance backend and distributed systems, with practical ML/LLM capabilities. I pair a strong computer science foundation with hands-on projects across systems, data, and APIs.

During a software engineering internship at IUDX (Indian Institute of Science, IISc), I unblocked federated learning by integrating confidential computing (CoCo, TEEs) and resolving Pod-VM crashes — cutting deployment time 75% and reducing secure container image size 92%. I also secured an urban-data platform with a Django file service using AES-256 and RBAC, and shipped reproducible secure releases by automating image builds with GitHub Actions CI.

In an earlier internship at CSIR-CSIO, I built an NLP pipeline to flag depression-related signals in social-media text, reaching 92% accuracy and improving minority-class recall through resampling and threshold tuning.

Outside of internships, I build systems projects to go deep on performance and distributed systems. I wrote a lock-free C++ order-book matching engine that sustains 1M+ events/sec at sub-microsecond p99 latency using a single-producer/single-consumer ring buffer, CPU pinning, and cache-line padding, with 50+ matching edge cases covered by Google Test in CI. I implemented Raft from scratch for a 5-node distributed key-value store over gRPC, keeping it consistent through leader crashes and network partitions and cutting node recovery to under 500 ms with persistent logs and snapshots. I also built an LLM resume-screening bot that ranks candidates using transformer embeddings — cutting manual screening time ~60% — served via FastAPI and containerized in Docker.
