Economics researcher at CBPS who analysed child budgets in Kerala and Assam for evidence-based policy.
What I'm looking for
At the Centre for Budget and Policy Studies (CBPS), I contributed to the UNICEF-funded Child Budget project by compiling state budget data for Kerala and Assam. I analysed spending patterns across areas including education, health, nutrition, and child-focused schemes.
For my MA Applied Economics thesis at Christ (Deemed to be University), I built an original dataset of 50 matched personal-care product pairs and surveyed 143 respondents. My analysis found no statistically significant gender price premium, alongside a gap between respondents’ perceptions and measured price differences.
I also co-authored a paper on AI-driven digitalisation and environmental sustainability across Asian economies, presented at the Indian Econometric Society conference. I contributed cross-country data extraction, the literature review, and policy recommendations, using panel techniques including FMOLS and DOLS.
Earlier, as a Content Writer at EJ Enterprises, I researched economic, social, and geopolitical topics and developed evidence-based content. I use R, Python, EViews, and Excel for data work, and I'm keen to contribute to evidence-based evaluation of policies, programmes, and schemes.
