What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue delivering pediatric, occupation-based OT for school and family settings, while partnering with a supportive team. I want opportunities to teach, present, and grow my creative education through speaking and published resources.

I’m an O.T. licensed Occupational Therapist who provides occupation-based services to children, with a strong focus on school-based support and individualized needs. I earned my Bachelor of Science/Master of Science in Occupational Therapy from Long Island University, graduating Summa Cum Laude with a 3.93/4.00 GPA.

Since May 2015, I’ve worked as an Occupational Therapist providing services for children with O.T. mandates on their IEPs, including note-taking, consulting, and related responsibilities. During the pandemic, I delivered remote OT services to children with medical diagnoses, and I also provide hands-on OT support through an agency serving children ages 3–5.

I’m also committed to teaching and knowledge-sharing. As an Adjunct Professor (Leadership; Anatomy & Physiology I), and through public speaking with AOTA, I translate practice into accessible, practical learning—covering topics like occupation-based health assessment and intervention and sensory integration.

Beyond clinical work, I bring creativity and communication to my profession through leadership and media. I’ve served as CEO of Jewishpodcasts.fm, founded and host an Occupational Therapy Podcast (“The Tani Talks Living Minute”), and published work including a children’s activity page and a “Find Fivel” book series.
