What I'm looking for

I am seeking an entry-level role in Opto-Mechanical/AIV supporting assembly, integration, calibration, and verification of imaging systems within procedure-driven, safety-focused teams.

I am an Experimental Physics graduate with hands-on experience in optical, detector, and instrumentation-based systems, trained to operate to audit-ready standards.

I have assembled, calibrated, and operated laboratory and observatory imaging systems including a Czerny–Turner monochromator, PMT and CCD detectors, and a robotic telescope with slit spectrograph, achieving sub-nanometer wavelength calibration and repeated recovery of known spectral features.

My training includes GUM-compliant measurement science, uncertainty budgeting, calibration chains, and metrological traceability; I apply statistical validation (Poisson/Gaussian), FFT analysis, and residual analysis to ensure measurement integrity.

I prioritise procedure-driven assembly, safe handling of sensitive hardware, anomaly investigation, and clear documentation to support AIV, integration, and verification activities in laboratory or observatory environments.
