What I'm looking for

I am seeking a role in BIM/Construction IT or software integration where I can apply automation, programming and digital workflow improvements.

I am a structural engineer with a BSc in Civil Engineering and extensive hands-on experience in steel design, detailing and fabrication workflows. I specialize in 3D BIM modeling and producing shop and erection drawings primarily using Tekla Structures.

I have worked across design offices, manufacturing environments and site offices, providing technical support, BOQ reporting and supervising fabrication and assembly processes. I routinely collaborate in English, German and Italian on international projects.

My focus expanded into BIM innovation and software environments where I maintained and developed Tekla firm systems, implemented low-code solutions, integrated digital workflows with SAP and supported cross-department processes. I have experience in Consteel structural analysis and creating automation with Python, C# and scripting tools.

I am currently transitioning toward construction IT and software roles, pursuing an MSc in Construction Information Technology Engineering and completing machine-learning integration work for BIM workflows using tools like pandas, scikit-learn, ifcopenshell and Streamlit.
