Sushant Gurung

Senior Software Engineer with 8 years of experience, starting my journey as an Associate Engineer and growing into a Senior Engineer while leading a team for 2 years. My career has taken me through Deerwalk and Cedargate, where I’ve worked on diverse projects, building applications using Java, Python, Grails, and JavaScript.

I’m passionate about solving problems through code and take pride in writing clean, efficient, and maintainable solutions. I enjoy taking ownership of projects, analyzing data, and ensuring that our applications are reliable and high-quality. Collaborating with teams, sharing ideas, and mentoring others has been one of the most rewarding parts of my journey.

Exploring new technologies and continuously learning keeps me motivated. Whether it’s debugging a tricky issue, building a new feature, or tackling complex challenges, my goal is to deliver software that makes a real difference.

Outside of work, I love music, especially playing the guitar, and staying active through soccer, table tennis, swimming, and hiking. I believe that keeping a balance between work, creativity, and fun helps me bring energy, enthusiasm, and fresh ideas to everything I do.
