At Trinity College Dublin, I develop nonlinear MATLAB models for offshore and submarine cable equilibrium and dynamic response, evaluating tension, displacement, and natural frequencies under environmental loading.
I use time-domain simulation and multi-harmonic balance to predict periodic cable dynamics. I compare the results with OpenFAST and MoorDyn simulations to investigate response behaviour and support numerical verification.
At Harbin Engineering University, I developed analytical and numerical formulations for hydroelastic waves and fluid–structure interactions, including wave propagation and flexible-structure responses. At Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, I conducted applied mathematics and fluid mechanics research using analytical models and numerical computations.
My research also includes models of wave–current interaction and hydroelasticity, as well as PyTorch models for floating elastic plate behaviour. I’ve published more than 20 peer-reviewed journal articles and co-authored Flexural Gravity Waves: The Mathematical Theory and Applications.
