What I'm looking for

I’m seeking to use my IVD, reagent, biosensor, and product-development expertise to contribute to innovative point-of-care diagnostic technologies.

At Technological University of Dublin, I developed and optimized a gold nanoparticle-based lateral flow immunoassay for food safety testing. I established reagent specifications and improved diagnostic sensitivity for a Class II IVD device.

At MiCRA-R&D, TU Dublin, I collaborated with industrial partners to evaluate diagnostic prototypes and supported immunodiagnostic product development, verification, and validation. I also investigated assay and prototype performance variability within GMP/GLP and ISO 13485-aligned practices.

At The Energy & Resources Institute (TERI), I directed reagent and nanomaterial development projects and led the transfer of nano-immobilized enzyme systems from the lab to pilot manufacturing. I’ve also mentored students and junior researchers, and my work has appeared in peer-reviewed publications and international conference presentations.
