Backend engineering intern at Finexa Tech building Java microservices for a financial platform and a REST–Kafka connector.
Sri LankaWhat I'm looking for
At Finexa Tech, I develop and maintain Java and Spring Boot microservices for a stock-broker back-office platform, including CRUD features used by financial clients. I also designed PostgreSQL stored procedures and views, and built a bidirectional REST–Kafka connector with Apache Camel for real-time event streaming.
I'm developing an individual AI-powered protocol automation platform using Spring Boot, FastAPI, RAG, and LLMs to generate structured technical documents from source code and existing documentation. The project includes validation, automated testing, and human-review workflows.
My projects also include Mimico, a full-stack e-commerce application with role-based JWT authentication, and an LLM-powered code-smell detection and refactoring system. As a Casual Instructor at the University of Peradeniya, I assisted with programming fundamentals and supported undergraduate lab sessions.
