What I'm looking for

I’m looking to lead engineering delivery where AI is treated as practical product capability—turning strategy into production systems, building strong teams, and partnering with leadership to ship measurable business value (not just prototypes).

I build AI capabilities that deliver measurable business value in regulated environments.

My background spans federal government systems at IBM (DoD, Department of Treasury, NIST/FISCAM compliance) and leading frontend engineering and AI capability development at a UX consultancy, where I took a local RAG proof-of-concept in pharma from zero to production agentic tooling. I lead a team of 10 engineers, sit on an AI strategy council, and publish on the gap between AI hype and operational reality.

I'm looking for a Director or VP of Engineering role at a product company where the mission matters. Healthcare, life sciences, and regulated-industry AI are where my experience is deepest and my interest is strongest. I want to build teams and systems that outlast me, not just ship features.

What I bring: the ability to translate strategic intent into working systems, lead engineers through ambiguity without losing them, and speak credibly to executive stakeholders about what AI can and can't do right now.
