Stephanie Steyn

I bring over six years of hands-on accounting and short-term rental management experience. I am dedicated to my work, a quick learner, and fully committed to putting in the effort required to excel in any role.

In my previous position, I managed both operational and trust accounting for a U.S.-based short-term rental company. My responsibilities included full-cycle bookkeeping, bank reconciliations, vendor payments, profit and loss reporting, and preparing monthly statements for 36 individual property owners. This role required strong attention to detail, a solid understanding of financial principles, and the ability to deliver accurate work under tight deadlines.

Beyond accounting, I began in a guest services role where I coordinated reservations, handled guest communications, managed special requests, and responded to reviews. This experience gave me a deep understanding of both the operational and financial sides of the business, allowing me to contribute as a well-rounded member of any property management or hospitality team.

I am proficient in QuickBooks and have a proven ability to produce clear, accurate financial reports tailored to both company and client needs. Any knowledge I may still be lacking, I am confident in my ability to learn quickly. I can also provide references that speak to my dedication and diligence.
