What I'm looking for

I’m looking for a role where I can apply machine learning and data engineering to build real-time, measurable systems—collaborating with a supportive team that values clean pipelines, strong model performance, and continuous learning.

I’m a Computer Science graduate student at California State University, Fullerton, with an M.S. focused on Neural Networks, Deep Learning, Reinforcement Learning, and advanced algorithms. With a strong academic record (GPA: 3.82), I translate technical curiosity into practical, measurable outcomes.

In my projects, I build end-to-end machine learning systems. For Fraud Detector, I created a real-time streaming pipeline using Apache Spark, Apache Kafka, and Hadoop HDFS, then trained and compared Gradient Boosted Trees, Logistic Regression, and Random Forest models to select the best performer.

I’ve also developed multimodal approaches for healthcare prediction. For Multimodal Deep Learning for Chest Disease Detection, I compared Logistic Regression, SVM, KNN, and Random Forests, and designed a multimodal fusion method that combines tabular clinical features with image embeddings—evaluating performance with accuracy, precision, recall, and F1-score.

Outside of tech, I bring a hands-on, people-centered work style as a Chiropractic Assistant and a former Big 5 Sporting Goods Manager. I’m bilingual in English and Spanish, and I’m motivated by clear communication, operational reliability, and using data to guide progress.
