What I'm looking for

I’m looking to continue palliative oncology work where I can lead goals-of-care discussions, manage symptoms proactively (including telehealth), collaborate across disciplines, and drive quality improvement to reduce hospitalizations.

I’m a palliative care Nurse Practitioner with extensive experience managing complex, high-acuity patients across inpatient and outpatient settings. At Hope Health, I manage a panel of patients with advanced cancer and chronic illness, providing comprehensive palliative care focused on pain and symptom management.

I conduct complex goals-of-care discussions and advance care planning to improve alignment of treatment with patient preferences. I collaborate closely with oncology, nursing, social work, and hospice teams to coordinate care across settings, including telehealth visits to ensure continuity and expand access.

I provide symptom management related to chemotherapy and disease progression—addressing pain, dyspnea, nausea, and fatigue—while supporting early intervention to reduce unnecessary hospitalizations. Previously, as an Internal Medicine Nurse Practitioner in Long Term Care, I evaluated and managed complex medical conditions, interpreted diagnostic tests, developed evidence-based treatment plans, and educated patients and families.

Before my advanced practice role, I served as a Registered Nurse in Oncology (Head, Neck and Lung), delivering high-quality outpatient care and serving as a key member of interdisciplinary care teams. I’m committed to patient-centered communication, interdisciplinary oncology care, and quality improvement, and I mentor and train new palliative care providers and student nurses and nurse practitioners.
