What I'm looking for

I'm seeking to inspire young artists through hands-on visual arts, design, art history, and critical-thinking instruction in a collaborative, nurturing learning environment.

I teach visual arts at Garland ISD’s Lakeview Centennial High School, creating hands-on lessons in drawing, painting, sculpture, and ceramics.

I adapt instruction for different learning styles and abilities while connecting art history and theory to practice-based projects and critical-thinking writing.

I create positive classroom environments where students can express their creativity, and I collaborate with fellow teachers on cross-curricular visual arts projects.

I also bring substitute teaching experience from Richardson ISD, including modeling ceramic techniques, alongside ongoing professional development in differentiation, individualized learning, instructional coaching, and teaching critical thinking through art.
