Kiaundra Edmond

I am a dedicated visual arts teacher with a Bachelor of Arts in Art Education from Indiana University-Purdue University of Indianapolis, Herron School of Art and Design. Since July 2019, I have been teaching at North Central High School, where I focus on creating a safe and engaging classroom environment that encourages students to express themselves creatively. My teaching philosophy centers around discipline-based Art Education, which I incorporate into my curriculum planning and design.

Throughout my career, I have maintained detailed and organized records of student information, ensuring effective communication with parents and students to foster academic success. I have experience working with diverse student backgrounds, which has enriched my teaching practice and allowed me to develop strong rapport with my students. I am committed to professional development and continuously seek opportunities to enhance my teaching skills and methodologies.
