I’m looking to build scalable Rails/Hotwire products where I can own API development, background job automation, and database performance—delivering reliable, real-time experiences in mission-driven domains.

I’m a Software Engineer experienced in building scalable web applications and APIs, optimizing databases, implementing background jobs, and creating real-time interactive platforms. I’ve helped teams in education, library, and health domains deliver dashboards, reporting, and automation that reduce manual work and improve responsiveness.

In my recent role at RLDatix North America, I developed an after-school program management system with Ruby on Rails, Hotwire live updates, and Sidekiq background jobs, while refactoring queries to improve performance and reliability. I also built and maintained test coverage with RSpec/Minitest, deployed to Heroku with Redis caching, and used database migrations and indexing to support evolving product features.
