At the University of Edinburgh Business School, I designed four MSc courses that pair story-led lectures with hands-on Jupyter notebooks using live market and macroeconomic data. Course evaluations were 4.45 to 4.80 out of 5 in 2025/26, and I received the Professor Excellence Award in 2024, 2025 and 2026.
I built EduForge, an AI course-generation platform governed by 39 explicit quality rules, and used it to produce three complete MSc courses with slides, notebooks and assessments. As the rule set grew, the builds needed for a production-ready week fell from about 15 to about 2.
My work also spans research software and applied analytics. I led the team behind the Pattern Causality Python and R packages, and built a forecasting comparison and public forecast-arena harness; earlier, I co-founded Prediction Tech and built demand forecasts for nine luxury hotel brands.
