At MTN Nigeria, I lead a team of SREs responsible for observability and reliability across customer-facing applications serving millions of users. I mentor teammates and participate in on-call rotations and live incident bridges.
I built observability pipelines integrating Prometheus, Elastic Stack, and OpenTelemetry, and defined SLIs and SLOs across production services. I also created synthetic monitoring probes for critical customer journeys and implemented Real User Monitoring for Flutter apps.
During incidents, I correlate metrics, logs, and traces to investigate distributed systems, then document findings in root cause analyses and blameless post-mortems. My work also includes alert tuning and dashboards used by regional teams during incident calls.
Previously, at Telmek Global Resources, I automated AWS infrastructure with Terraform, Ansible, and CloudFormation and maintained CI/CD pipelines. At RAE & RUI, I administered Linux production servers and managed VMware-based virtual machines.
