Spencer Hunt

I’m a Software Engineer with experience building scalable enterprise and web applications using C#, Go, and Angular across healthcare, SaaS, and academic environments. I translate product requirements into maintainable software that supports performance, security, and long-term scalability.

In my recent roles, I’ve developed backend services with C# and .NET Core for healthcare laboratory systems and implemented Go-based microservices for asynchronous, high-throughput workloads. I also expanded internal tooling by building Angular-based dashboards and responsive UI components for operational teams.

I consistently improve system reliability by refining database queries, strengthening service communication patterns, and applying structured debugging techniques. I also participate in the full software development lifecycle, including Agile/Scrum collaboration, code reviews, and CI/CD-driven deployments.

From Vanderbilt University research platforms to engineering data management at MiTek, I’ve built RESTful APIs that integrate backend services and front-end experiences for users who need to visualize, manage, and act on complex datasets. I bring a practical, reliability-first mindset and a strong focus on stable feature delivery.
