At NeuroDiscovery AI, I worked as a Neurology Research Scientist Intern, standardizing and quality-checking real-world neurology healthcare data using SQL on AWS and Snowflake. I also worked on data de-identification and clinical research using longitudinal patient data.
At Saha Institute of Nuclear Physics, HBNI, I worked as a Senior Research Fellow and Junior Research Fellow on my PhD research into oncogenic long non-coding RNAs in neurodegeneration. My work included research on XIST and Alzheimer’s disease, including a 2026 publication on XIST’s association with THOC2 and the nuclear epigenetic machinery.
My computational work includes bulk and single-cell RNA-seq, microarray analysis, regulatory network analysis, and end-to-end omics pipelines on high-performance computing clusters. I use R, MySQL, and Python, alongside tools including Cytoscape, Gephi, MySQL Workbench, Snowflake, and Starrocks.
I’ve also worked with mammalian cell culture, RNA-focused assays, and microscopy, and have mentored summer interns and a Master’s dissertation student. My research has been recognized with travel grants and poster awards, and I have served as a peer reviewer for several scientific journals.
