I’m a Lead Backend & AI Engineer with 5+ years shipping production Python systems across healthcare, financial, and legal domains—moving from backend-only REST services to full AI + backend integrations. I’ve led architecture and delivery end-to-end, including AWS/Terraform infrastructure and SOC2/HIPAA-aware compliance.

In healthcare, I integrated 7 EMR systems via FHIR R4 to enable secure clinical data exchange for 50,000+ patients/month, and I led troubleshooting (including an Allscripts connection-pool issue) to deliver an S3-based export workaround that became the official integration strategy. I also built an OCR + LLM agent parsing pipeline, an LLM-based legal contract structuring pipeline for REST delivery, and an on-the-fly financial CSV normalization engine—cutting AI inference cost per patient by 86% and slashing PostgreSQL query latency by ~99.6%, while maintaining ~95% test coverage and improving deployment reliability with automated infrastructure and CI/CD.
