What I'm looking for

I seek a role that fosters creativity and supports educational growth.

I am a physicist and researcher pursuing a PhD in Theoretical Physics at the University of Port Harcourt, Nigeria, focused on neutronic analysis and core optimization for small modular reactor (SMR) design. I hold an M.Sc. in Theoretical Physics, a Postgraduate Diploma in Physics, and a B.Sc.(Ed) in Physics Education, giving me a strong foundation in mathematical modelling, computation, and analytical thinking.

My research centers on relativistic mean field theory and nuclear matter physics. My master's thesis examined a non-linear vector meson self-interaction term's effect on nuclear matter, work I co-presented at the Nigerian Institute of Physics conference in 2021. My postgraduate diploma research modelled atmospheric dispersion of radioactive effluent from nuclear power stations. I am currently developing both into papers for publication.

I bring a genuinely multidisciplinary professional background. I have led technical and IT operations in educational settings, including a full digital records systems rollout, and coordinated field installation and client communication in telecommunications (Fiber-to-the-Home deployments). I have taught physics and mathematics across institutions in Nigeria and worked remotely as an instructional design specialist for US-based education companies.

I am actively building complementary data and AI skills: I completed Nigeria's national 3MTT Data Analytics Fellowship and am completing further applied AI training through a programme delivered with MIT and 3MTT. I have working familiarity with Python and NumPy, use Mathematica for computational research, and learn new tools quickly.

Core skills: mathematical and computational modelling, data analysis, technical writing, IT support, instructional design, content review, project coordination, and communicating complex material clearly.

I'm particularly interested in roles at the intersection of physics, data science, and applied AI, including research assistant and data analytics positions, as well as technical, content, and coordination roles drawing on my IT and administrative experience. I bring a consistent pattern of learning difficult material independently and following through reliably across very different environments.
