I am a SAICA trainee accountant with audit-in-charge experience at BDO Johannesburg, specialising in Technology, Media & Entertainment and Telecommunications, and with exposure to gambling, asset management, mining, education and pharmaceuticals. I hold a BCom (Accounting & Law), a Postgraduate Diploma in Accounting (CTA), and passed both ITC and APC on first attempts, demonstrating strong technical accounting, auditing and taxation capabilities.
I combine a legal background in company and commercial law with practical audit leadership, management accounting and financial reporting skills, and I aim to pursue newly qualified CA(SA) opportunities post-articles. Outside work, I am a trained DJ and bring communication, presentation and facilitation strengths to team and client engagements.
