At HelpAge International, I analyzed program budgets against outcomes and indicators, reviewed expenditure, and prepared donor reports. I used Microsoft Power BI to visualize budget information.
I also reviewed expenses and adjusted journal entries when costs were charged to the wrong budget line. My work included bank and cash reconciliations, following up on overdue advances, and checking implementing partners’ activities against partnership and donor requirements.
Previously, I was a Finance Officer at International Rescue Committee (IRC), where I reviewed invoices, processed payments and journal transactions, and participated in budget preparation and monitoring. I also filed tax returns and prepared quarterly budget reports for donors.
