What I'm looking for

I'm seeking an opportunity to contribute to innovative scientific projects with a dynamic team while continuing to grow personally and professionally.

I'm completing a Biology degree focused on ecology while supporting environmental research in Louisville. At the Christina Lee Brown Envirome Institute, I developed remote tree-species identification methods using Google Maps and ArcGIS and completed a database for the Green Heart project.

I've also collected soil, biomass, and air-pollution samples, conducted water holding capacity and soil aggregability tests, and analyzed findings in Microsoft Excel. I communicate research methods and results through weekly reports and presentations.

Created methods for identifying tree species using Google Maps and implemented ArcGIS to store tree identification data. Completed a database of unknown tree species and presented findings remotely at the end of the internship.
