At Shell Tankers, I lead voyage planning, chart corrections, and route optimization as a Second Officer, while standing bridge watches in compliance with COLREGs, SOLAS, and Shell’s Maritime Safety Standards.
I operate ECDIS, Radar, AIS, and GMDSS equipment, and supervise loading and discharging operations with tanker safety and MARPOL compliance in focus.
Earlier at Shell Tankers, I assisted senior officers with navigation, cargo operations, and safety management. At Maersk Tankers, I performed navigation watchkeeping and maintained safety equipment on product and chemical tankers.
I began at A.P. Moller – Maersk as a Deck Cadet, assisting with navigation, deck operations, safety compliance, and cargo handling. I’m currently pursuing an MBA in Digital Maritime & Supply Chain at IIT Madras, building on my nautical technology education and maritime qualifications.
