What I'm looking for

I'm seeking Operations Research Scientist, Optimization Engineer or Supply Chain / Logistics Analytics roles.

At Indian Institute of Technology Kharagpur, I built a multi-depot routing engine for heterogeneous fleets, combining MILP with a Clarke-Wright and Tabu Search hybrid. It improved solution quality by up to ~20% over standalone Savings and Tabu Search on multi-depot instances.

On an ISRO-funded disaster logistics project, I developed GIS-based vehicle routing models and the NDMVRP QGIS plug-in, a decision-support tool for generating and visualising fleet routes on real road networks. I also productionised the plug-in with dependency installation, input validation and a GPL v2 release.

I designed a SimPy simulation to stress-test routing plans under demand surges, travel-time inflation and staggered arrivals. My work also includes network interdiction for SERB and suburban rail service strategies for CISCO, published in Case Studies on Transport Policy.
