What I'm looking for

I’m looking to grow in an academic or R&D role where I can lead interdisciplinary research in embedded DIW and 4D printing for biomedical implants, while also teaching and mentoring through hands-on additive manufacturing and HPS labs.

I’m an Assistant Professor conducting interdisciplinary research in embedded direct ink writing and 4D printing, with a strong focus on high-fidelity fabrication for biomedical applications. My work bridges materials behavior, process design, and simulation-driven validation so results translate from lab to real performance.

For my Ph.D. at IIT Delhi, I developed a novel embedded 3D printing process based on solvent-water interaction principles, enabling complex biomedical implant fabrication. I also established printability in nano-silicate suspensions using particle image velocimetry (PIV) and rheological studies, then demonstrated 4D printing of a tracheal scaffold with shape recovery at body temperature.

During my M.Tech. at IIT Roorkee, I explored 4D printing of self-fitting scaffolds using nature-inspired architecture and experimentally investigated smart material shape-memory behavior. I designed geometries in SolidWorks and ran structural/CFD simulations with ANSYS Mechanical/FLUENT, supported by COMSOL Multiphysics for degradation behavior.

As a teacher, I deliver UG and PG instruction in additive manufacturing and hydraulic & pneumatic systems (HPS), and I lead hands-on lab sessions covering CAD, additive manufacturing, and HPS. I bring proven execution from industry-facing roles in product management and student engagement, and I’m motivated by recognition such as the National Post-Doctoral Fellowship (N-PDF) and IRD Early Doc Fellowship.
